Twenty Then Meet

20 messages. Then meet in real life.

Twenty Then Meet reverses the incentives of platforms that maximize time online. After 20 total messages, the conversation locks. To continue, both people must propose, accept and confirm that a physical meeting took place.

What it does

01

Profiles and discovery by area

02

Explicit 20-message chat limit

03

Meeting proposal and acceptance

04

Dual confirmation after meeting

05

Events, reviews and reputation

How it works

  1. People discover each other and talk
  2. The chat reaches its limit and stops
  3. Only a meeting confirmed by both people unlocks the conversation

Concrete value

The constraint is the product: digital contact opens the door but does not replace a real-world relationship.

Stated limitations

This is a working prototype in pilot phase. It does not claim an active community, continuous public availability or guaranteed meeting outcomes.

Why it exists

Twenty Then Meet

Many platforms benefit from prolonging chat and scrolling even when they create no useful relationship. Twenty Then Meet tests the opposite incentive: digital conversation has a known limit and can continue only after both people report that a meeting occurred.

Practical use cases

  • Local communities seeking to encourage new connections in their area
  • Festivals, coworking spaces and events with activities before and after meeting
  • Associations testing interactions that depend less on screen time
  • Partners interested in evaluating the pilot’s rules and safety

What the pilot provides

A working prototype for testing profiles, local discovery, limited chat, meeting proposals and dual confirmation. The pilot validates behavior, safety and usefulness with a constrained group before any public rollout.

Twenty Then Meet

For local partners, communities and events interested in testing confirmed real-world meetings.
