Alice and Bob have 20 messages. Then they meet in real life.

Alice and Bob want to make new connections in their area without becoming trapped in endless chat. Twenty Then Meet limits digital conversation and moves the process toward an agreed meeting in a public place.

Alice, Bob and Café Central

Alice and Bob live in the same area and discover each other through local search. They are not necessarily seeking a romantic relationship: they want to meet real people around compatible interests or activities.

When they decide to meet, they choose Café Central, a public and convenient place. In a future pilot, the cafe could appear as a clearly labelled partner venue.

From profile to meeting, step by step

  1. Alice discovers Bob nearby

    Local discovery uses an area or proximity setting to show profiles relevant to the selected context.

  2. They begin a limited conversation

    The chat allows 20 messages in total. The limit is visible from the start and reduces the incentive to chat forever.

  3. The chat reaches its limit

    After the 20 messages are used, the conversation stops and asks the participants to make a concrete decision.

  4. They propose a meeting

    One person proposes a day and format. The other can accept, decline or choose not to continue.

  5. They choose a public place

    Alice and Bob select a suitable venue. Future partner recommendations must be labelled and cannot override safety, distance, accessibility or opening hours.

  6. They confirm after meeting

    Afterwards, each person can independently confirm that the meeting happened. Only dual confirmation allows the conversation to continue.

No. It supports local human connection and real meetings without positioning itself as an exclusively romantic or dating service.

Can a partner venue see who is meeting?

No. The model provides contextual visibility and aggregate measurements without identities, chat contents or precise locations.

Are partner venues already available in the app?

Not yet. The model needs to be tested with a curated list and a small local pilot, initially in Toulouse.
